How it works

Firm, polite, escalated only if needed.

  1. Send us the detailsThe invoice, your terms and any correspondence with the customer.
  2. A formal demandA letter from a recovery specialist, which settles many debts on its own.
  3. Statutory interest and costsWhere the law allows, interest and recovery costs are added to the claim.
  4. Legal action if neededIf the debt is still unpaid, the options for taking it further are explained to you, with costs, before anything is done.
Prevention

Fewer late payers next year.

The cheapest debt to recover is the one that never goes overdue. We can help you tighten your payment terms, invoice wording and follow-up routine, so customers know when and how to pay and what happens if they do not.

For businesses whose cash flow suffers while invoices are outstanding, we can also look at whether business funding would help in the meantime.

Questions

Debt recovery questions.

What debts can you help with?
Unpaid invoices owed to your business by other businesses. We do not handle debts owed by individual consumers.
Can I charge interest on a late invoice?
Under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, a business can usually claim statutory interest of 8% above the Bank of England base rate on a late commercial invoice, plus a fixed sum for the cost of recovering it. Your contract terms can change this, so we check them first.
Will chasing a debt damage the relationship?
It does not have to. Recovery starts with a firm, polite reminder, and many debts are paid at that stage. We agree the tone with you before anything is sent.
How are you paid?
Depending on the debt, recovery is usually charged as a fixed fee or a percentage of what is collected. You agree the terms before any action is taken.
Next step

Chase it properly.

Tell us about the invoice and we will explain the options and the cost before anything is sent.

Debt recovery is carried out by a specialist recovery partner. We only introduce business-to-business debts. Fees are agreed with you before any action is taken. Saynor Sales Solutions is a trading name of Saynor MedTech Ltd. We arrange these services through our partnership with JK Commercial Savings Ltd and a panel of UK providers. We are paid by the provider you choose, usually as a commission or fee, and we tell you about it before you agree to anything. Switching is always your decision, and there is no charge to you for our time.
